Hey there, I'm Robb Gilligan the 3rd! My friends call me RG3.. or Robb is fine too :)
I feel so blessed to be on this life-long journey of music making!
I was raised in a very musical family where instrument lessons were required in early childhood, and so I started with piano, saxophone, and voice, then later gravitated to guitar, bass & drums to satiate the rocker within. Without hesitation, I began writing songs and started my first punk rock band in 1999, and have never looked back since...I joined classical choirs, musicals, concert band, marching band, songwriting groups. ya know, all that awesome nerdy stuff.
My love for this art of melody and song led me to Los Angeles, CA to study music production & recording at Loyola Marymount University. I then stayed in LA for over a decade cutting my teeth within Hollywood's premier recording and production studios on some of the world's most popular releases in music, film, trailers, commercials, and gaming.
I now enjoy living amongst the great outdoors in the Pacific Northwest with my wife and 2 children; writing and producing from my professional home studio. I have surrounded myself with a trusted team of writers and musicians to collaborate with, which allows me the freedom & power to create music in a wide variety of genres that I enjoy, such as: Rock, Gritty-Blues-Rock, Punk, Alternative, Orchestral, Hybrid-Cinematic, Indie, Folk, Pop, Electronic, Acoustic, and Ambient.
